Kira

Even though Kira is no longer with us, we are grateful for the years that we got to share with our wonderful store greeter. She taught us all lessons about friendship and loyalty; qualities that will stay with us forever. We miss you dearly dear old Kira!

Not only was this sweet pup adored by everyone who came into the store, but she also had many furry friends around town. Dogs from all corners of the neighborhood would visit her to get cuddles and plenty of treats from their favorite canine companion. Her warm presence brought joy to all those around her, both human and canine alike.

Owner- Don Moore- for over 20 years

Don

Don started out his career with Goodyear as a retail store manager, eventually moving to the head office as the marketing manager.In the mid 90’s he transitioned to
Bridgestone/Firestone Canada Inc as the National Advertising manager and National Sales.  He purchased the store from the previous owner in 2001 and began his journey as an entrepreneur.  Married to his wife Leitha for over 40 years they have 2 grown children and their fur baby Kira who has been greeting customers at the store since she was a puppy. Don also keeps busy with his 5 grandchildren who bring him so much joy.  An avid golfer and hockey player, Don enjoys winters on the ice and summers on the green.

Cherlynn

Cherlynn is the daughter of Don Moore and is now following in her father’s footsteps, learning the ropes of an entrepreneur. Her background is in Advertising, and she travelled to
Sydney, Australia in 2006 to earn her Bachelor of Communications and Public Relations. Cherlynn enjoys all things automotive and of course like her father, building relationships with our customers. Cherlynn also has her OMVIC licence and can buy and sell used cars. Mother to 2 children, dog mom and wife of over 13 years, Cherlynn keeps busy running the day-to-day behind the scenes operations of the store along with all the advertising and marketing.

Fairview Tire Wholesale Manager

Rob

When we say we are a family business, we mean it. Rob is Don’s younger brother and joined our team over 6 years ago. His previous background was in the Aerospace industry at ComDev.
Rob brings a great organizational element to our Wholesale and tire storage division of our team. Rob is a husband, father and grandfather. Rob enjoys mountain biking and when he’s not answering phones at the store, he’s often found on the bike trails trying to stay in one piece.

Leitha

Leitha has worked at the store since Don purchased Fairview Tire in 2001. Managed all the accounting and payables for years until she retired in 2020. Now she and her fur baby Kira spend their days helping with her 5 grandbabies and taking as many walks as possible.

Technician

Jeff

Jeff has been with Fairview Tire for over 15 years. He is a father to 2 kids and enjoys tinkering around his family farm.

Jeff brings a wealth of experience to our team.

Ben

Big Ben has been with our team since his start as an apprentice. Ben has grown into a very promising technician over the years and always eggar to take on new challenges
within the industry. Ben has the biggest heart and stomach of all. He enjoys a good snack and will never turn down a free meal or even a cookie.

Retired

Mike

Mike dedicated 16 years to Fairview Tire, bringing invaluable experience from the Leggat dealership family in parts and service. A husband, loving father of two girls, and proud grand pup parent, Mike enjoyed golf and family time outside of work.

We sincerely thank Mike for his years of service to our store and the Burlington community and wish him a happy and well-deserved retirement!

Store Manager – A licensed mechanic with 30+ years of experience, certified to work on EV and hybrid vehicles through NAPA’s NEXDRIVE program.

Andy

Andy has been with Fairview Tire AutoPro as a technician for some time now. He joined our team bringing his extensive knowledge
as a diagnostic specialist many import vehicles. His years of experience speak volumes to his understanding of vehicles. You can now see Andy’s smiling face at the front counter as he’s learning the role of service advisor. Andy is a husband, doggy daddy and father to 3.

Owen

Owen is new to our shop team and beginning his career in the automotive repair world. Owen is an egger learner and fits in well with the rest of the crew.

Riley

Riley has been with the Fairview Tire AutoPro team since he was a high school co-op student. He continued with us over the years
and now is enrolled in the apprenticeship program. Riley has been a great asset to our store for many years and is always willing to lend a helping hand and is a great team player.

Greeter Apprentice

Ally

Ally is a 6-year-old boarder collie x black lab mix who is learning the ropes of being a “greeter” at the store.

She can be found in the back office with Cherlynn just below her
feet or prancing around the showroom with her “piggy” nervously sniffing all the customers.
