Meet the team

Get to know them better

In loving memory Master Greeter : March 15, 2008-January 19, 2023

Kira

Even though Kira is no longer with us, we are grateful for the years that we got to share with our wonderful store greeter. She taught us all lessons about friendship and loyalty; qualities that will stay with us forever. We miss you dearly dear old Kira!

Not only was this sweet pup adored by everyone who came into the store, but she also had many furry friends around town. Dogs from all corners of the neighborhood would visit her to get cuddles and plenty of treats from their favorite canine companion. Her warm presence brought joy to all those around her, both human and canine alike.

Owner- Don Moore- for over 20 years

Don Moore

Don has spent more than 40 years in the automotive industry. After successful careers in sales and marketing with Goodyear and Bridgestone/Firestone, he leaped into entrepreneurship and purchased Fairview Tire AutoPro in 2001.

Since then, he’s built the business around one simple philosophy: treat every customer like family.

When he’s not at the shop, Don enjoys golfing, playing hockey, and spending time with his wife, Leitha, their two children/spouses, five grandchildren and 2 grand-dogs. If you visit the store, there’s a good chance you’ll also meet Skye (Don’s dog), the energetic Border Collie who loves tagging along.

Cherlynn Moore-Grosvold

With a background in Advertising and Communications, Cherlynn earned her Bachelor of Communications and Public Relations in Sydney, Australia. She also holds an OMVIC licence and has a passion for both the automotive industry and building lasting relationships with customers.

As Don’s daughter, Cherlynn grew up around the family business and now oversees the day-to-day behind-the-scenes operations, marketing, and customer communications that help keep Fairview Tire AutoPro running smoothly. When she’s not at the shop, she’s a busy mom of two teenagers, a dog mom, and can usually be found at the hockey rink cheering on her son.

With a background in the aerospace industry at ComDev, he brings precision, organization, and a calm approach to managing our wholesale and tire storage operations.

Outside the shop, Rob is a husband, father, and proud grandfather. When he’s not helping customers, you’ll likely find him out on the mountain bike trails—doing his best to stay rubber-side down.

When he’s not helping customers or supporting the team, Andy enjoys spending time with his wife, their three children, and his dog. While you’ll usually find him at the front counter these days, he’s never far from the shop when a challenging diagnostic problem needs solving.

We sincerely thank Mike for his years of service to our store and the Burlington community and wish him a happy and well-deserved retirement!

Greeter Apprentice

Ally

Ally is our 9-year-old Border Collie/Black Lab mix and the unofficial heart of Fairview Tire AutoPro. You’ll usually find her snoozing at Cherlynn’s feet in the back office or proudly parading through the showroom with her favourite squeaky pig. She loves greeting customers (after a quick sniff, of course!) and is always happy to make new friends.

Occasional Greeter

Skye

Skye is our energetic 3-year-old purebred Border Collie. She rarely has an “off” switch and is always ready for her next adventure. Whether she’s chasing a ball, catching a Frisbee, or making new friends, Skye is happiest when she’s on the move. If you happen to visit on one of her store days, don’t be surprised if she invites you to join her for a quick game of fetch!

Ally is a 6-year-old boarder collie x black lab mix who is learning the ropes of being a “greeter” at the store.
She can be found in the back office with Cherlynn just below her feet or prancing around the showroom with her “piggy” nervously sniffing all the customers.
